As September comes to an end and we move into the second half of the financial year, that can only mean one thing at TORI: a new generation joins the TORI graduate scheme.
This year Hannah Worth, Robert Gardner, and Jack Bessell were selected from over 400 applications after multiple rounds of interviews including a panel of the senior TORI team.
Hannah joins TORI from Newcastle University where she graduated with a First Class degree in Business Management with Placement. Robert has completed a postgraduate degree in Finance and Management, following an undergraduate degree in Business and Management at Sussex - being awarded Distinction and a First Class degree respectively - and spending a year abroad in Hong Kong studying at HKUST. Jack joins TORI from the University of St. Andrews, having obtained a Distinction in a Masters of International Business, having previously graduated with a First Class degree in Economics from the University of Plymouth, where he was also ranked top of class.
The graduate programme runs for one year with each graduate rotating across the 5 propositions (Strategy Execution, Customer & Client Value, Operational Excellence, Governance, Risk & Control and Organisation & Leadership Development), shadowing the heads of each business area and working on projects across both industry streams – Banking and Wealth Management & Insurance.
The graduates will also train in PRINCE2, ITIL, and Agile – key tools in their development as junior consultants. They will also be coached by previous generations of the programme and each has a senior mentor.
The TORI graduate scheme is a fantastic way for skilled young people with high potential to start their career at a global organisation. We wish them the best of luck!
