Remote Working: The Importance of Building a Strong Remote Working Culture

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought seismic changes to organisational ways of working, with many abruptly shifting to working remotely, or differing working practices.

A year on and the UK is currently navigating through a third national lockdown, with restrictions set to begin easing over the coming weeks and months. Alongside restrictions easing, the roll-out of the vaccine has brought some hope and positivity to resuming some sort of ‘normality’.

Nevertheless, it must be recognised that pre-COVID working life, as we knew it, may never return. In light of this, there must be focused and concerted efforts to build a remote working culture as the future of the workplace is likely to be a combination of both office and remote working.
