Hugh is an experienced General Insurance (retail and wholesale) and Programme Management leader with a track record in organising client and supplier teams to deliver desired outcomes and results across a wide range of functional domains, including: insurance back-office functions such as claims management, policy management, CRM customer management, finance and HR.

His key strengths is a ‘hands on’ approach and creating relationships with senior stakeholders to engage, challenge and influence; designing, negotiating and implementing very large-scale change programmes to underpin commercial success.

Hugh establishes clear governance, defining goals and setting targets to deliver change implementation delivering business outcomes in challenging circumstances and has worked for a wide range of leading industry financial service clients in the Insurance sector including: Aviva, Direct Line, Lloyd’s of London, IUA, MS Amlin and other Lloyd’s syndicates and major Lloyd’s brokers, such as Willis Towers Watson, Aon, Marsh, Ardonagh Specialty, as well as a broad range of other financial services businesses) all operating in highly regulated environments.
