Hema is an experienced business outcome-focused transformation and sales leader with a successful record in designing and delivering complex global transformation programmes and leading sales organisations. Her unique experience includes the full e2e spectrum of transformation – conceptualisation of change, strategy and operating model development to successful delivery and embedding change within operational BAU.
Fully conversant using tailored approaches to programme/ change delivery including the use of Agile SCRUM and PRINCE2, Hema sales experience includes an excellent record of business development including new client acquisition, client/account management and stakeholder management working with the C-suite within the insurance and FS sectors.
Hema’s operations management experience includes leading global operation teams across multiple locations and disciplines and implementing service management models supported by industry best practices such as ITIL. 30 years of global experience spanning the UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa within financial services with the last 17 years within insurance.
Hema has worked with global majors such as Aviva, Prudential, Zurich, QBE, Old Mutual, DLG, Royal London, and Lloyds Bank to support their strategic transformation agenda and has extensive insurance industry experience with a strong consulting background working for the Big4 and boutique consulting firms. She holds a Master in Technology from the Indian Institute of Science, Masters in Commerce (Finance) and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK specialising in Finance and Strategy.
