The Business Resilience Breakfast

Tue 10 Sep 2019
Devonshire Square
United Kingdom

Financial authorities in the UK are increasingly focusing on Business Resilience, as is borne out by our recent work with both the Regulator and a number of banking and financial services clients. Indeed, planned legislation to test Operational Resilience is the next significant regulatory pillar, which will require organisations to evidence their ability to cope with business, customer and/or market-impacting scenarios.

As such, this event aims to address one of the biggest challenges facing organisations today: “How to be resilient”. In addition to hearing the views of the Regulator and the market place, we will also be outlining TORI Global’s approach to tackling end-to-end resilience through a number of lenses, including: Business, Operations, Third Party and People (read our blog - Introduction to Business Resilience - to find out more).

The agenda for the morning includes:

  • 0800-0835: Breakfast and networking
  • 0835-0840: Introduction
  • 0840-0900: The view from the Regulator (Matt Lloyd, Bank of England - Resilience Policy Lead)
  • 0900-0920: The view from the market (Zac Fortune, VTB Capital - Global Head of Business Support Services and COO)
  • 0920-0930: The TORI perspective (Nigel Munden, TORI Global - Head of Cyber Security)
  • 0930-0955: Panel Q&A and discussion
  • 0955-1000: Closing remarks
