TORI provides expertise in various areas of process improvement including COBIT and ISO 20000 but one of our primary areas of focus is the application of the ITIL framework to achieve best practice Service Management within organisations. The link from Capacity Management (a key ITIL process) into Performance Tuning is brought together with IT Environment Modelling by our project management methodology based on a light version of Prince.

The management of the services provided by IT infrastructure is a fast maturing area of expertise, especially within the highly complex, global enterprises typical of the Financial Services industry. The ITIL disciplines and framework are the most comprehensive and complete set of solutions focusing on the people, the processes and the supporting technologies, which are the major domains. However TORI practitioners do not implement ITIL 'out of the box' but take a very pragmatic approach on the basis that they know what works and what doesn't having worked in the industry themselves. This framework provides an excellent 'window' on the IT infrastructure and leads logically towards performance optimisation of services. TORI also utilises a modelling system which is ideal for 'chaotic' environments which are prevalent in trade floors and Exchanges
