In the fast changing world of Financial Services, organisations must be able to adjust their strategy to cater for economic change, significant growth, directional change or any number of other events that will necessitate a strategic shift.
TORI has worked with a number of clients in reviewing the structure and objectives of major technical divisions within the organisation. We have assisted in the development of a strategy and ‘road map’ to carry out that strategy and construct an operating model that may be rolled out across a group.
During such assignments we have developed:
- Favoured Organisational Structure, including headcount and internal and external interfaces and interdependencies
- Mission, Vision and Core Values of the group
- Operating Model and specific responsibilities of the group
- Skills and Qualities required of the group and a plan to acquire those skills if not present in the current organisation
- An overview of the current state from a Balanced Scorecard view
- An overview of the current state (strengths and weaknesses) measured by Systems, Strategy, Style, Staff, Processes, Structure, and Skills
- Objectives and Initiatives
- A Plan to address outstanding issues – both within the group and those perceived by the groups’ clients and stakeholders
- A Strategic Road Map, i.e. the steps to be taken to move the group to its agreed target position.
