What Can be Achieved
With increasing stakeholder pressure on organisations to reduce environmental impact including increasing consumer awareness of the sustainability performance of the companies they deal with, it is critical for both public and private sector entities to not only implement but deliver a comprehensive carbon reduction strategy covering:
- Carbon management
- Energy reduction
- Legislative compliance
- Implementing technology as a 'green enabler'
- Culture change
- Enterprise resource planning
- Co-ordinating inter-departmental implementation
- Effective stakeholder engagement (both internal and external)
- Provision of robust programme management disciplines

Stakeholder Engagement & Culture Change
As an organisation defines and implements an environmental resource planning strategy it is critical to engage relevant stakeholders, including employees, so that they can be informed of what is happening, how they can become involved and, most importantly, how they can contribute, as this will measurably increase the effectiveness of any carbon reduction and energy efficiency initiatives.
TORI has the ability to delilver an end-to-end programme from providing a clear signal of the direction of travel and organisation needs to undertake through to embedding behavioural change to maintain best practice carbon reduction actions.
